Fellowship Groups First Congregational offers several opportunities for fun and fellowship with its church family: Reader's Group If you love to read and discuss with others what you're reading, you'll love this group. They meet every second Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m. at Dow Rummel Village. (Sept. through May) A complete listing of this year's books are available in the church office. Men's Fellowship Group: The Men's Fellowship Group meets the second Saturday of each month, except in the summer months, at 8:30 a.m. for one hour. We have a continental breakfast and meaningful conversation and discussion, ranging from Bible studies, ethical principles, religious beliefs, to personal experiences. It is truly a time of fellowship and great discussions. Please come check us out. 15 In Between: The 15 In Between group is for singles and couples between the ages of 45 and 60. This fellowship group is well known for its fun and enjoyment! Once a month, except during the summer, 15 In Between meet somewhere and enjoy each other's company, fellowship, jokes, and dinner, as well as other fun opportunities. Next Month: Saturday, March 13: Social, Dinner and Court Whist at Dow Rummel. Social at 5:30 p.m. with dinner at 6:30 followed by Court Whist. Cost will be $10-$15 per person. Click Here to sign up. Out and About: Out and about is for anyone ages 21 to 45. This is another fun loving group that meets monthly, except during the summer, for special events and fellowship. It has been said that the fellowship is so fantastic, that even if you don't enjoy the activity planned for the month you'll still have a great time! Next Month: Saturday, March 20 at 6:00 p.m. Mexican Fiesta with hosts Mark and Linda Poppe. If you plan to attend, you can SIGN UP HERE! Prime Time: The Prime Time Fellowship is for singles and couples, ages 60 and over. They meet on a monthly basis, except during summer months. Their programs are varied and interesting, and the fellowship is great. Family First Fellowship Group: Family First Fellowship Group is primarily made up of families with children (although anyone is welcome) that meets several times a year for "family fun" orientated events. Next Month: Friday, March 5 at 5:15 p.m. Potluck dinner and a trip to the Washington Pavilion, hosted by Kyle and Wendy Aspaas. The Kirby Science Center is FREE on Friday evenings and there are reduced rates for the movies. SIGN UP HERE if you would like to join us! 2030: This group, led by Rev. Otto, is for all young adults in the 18-30 age group. The group meets on a regular basis for fun activities and discussions . This month: Thursday, March 4th, 7:00 p.m.: Prayer and Pints at Monk's. Fellowship Hall (in the lower level)- March 7th and 14th: Water 101 with Pat Hammond, research scientist in Hydrology. March 21: "When I Was Thirsty" with Dr. Jay Moon, Assistant Professor at Sioux Falls Seminary. March 28: Dow Rummel Retirement Education Group with Lisa Geis, facilitator.
