Partnership with Eugene Field A+ School
Join with us in supporting the teachers and students throughout the year. One way we do this is by serving a meal to school staff on Parent-Teacher conference days.
Our most recent mission experiences have taken us to New York City, Washington, D.C., St. Louis, and Nicaragua.
Our knitters make beautiful blankets that are given to our newly baptized infants. Thanks to their dedicated work, many homes are blessed with a handmade blanket. A special thank you to our volunteers who lovingly embroider the baby’s name and date of birth into each blanket. This group also crafts prayer shawls for individuals facing times of grief.
If you are interested in joining the Knitters group, please contact the office. They meet the first Wednesday of the month at 3:30pm.
Moms Making Meals
Moms Making Meals is a group of moms who work together to feed people while enjoying fellowship with one another. They meet to make meals that can be frozen and given to families during times of need, such as after a birth of a baby or when faced with a loss of a family member. They have also sponsored an ice cream social at a local park. They will continue to look for new ways to support our church and grow.
